December 18th and 19th-the Holidays Bag!
Happy Holidays Oahu Fresh family! We’re looking forward to bringing you the last bag of 2013 this week and hope you will enjoy it over the holidays! We will not be delivering during Christmas and New Year’s weeks, but we will be seeing you again on January 8th and 9th. For this last bag of the year though here’s what you can expect:
Red and green mixed hydroponic lettuce and baby mizuna from Mari’s Garden, organic beets from Kahumana Farm, sea asparagus from Marine Agrifuture, green beans from Pacific Gateway Farmers, and plenty of mixed organic citrus from Kama`aina Land Plant Rentals and Nursery. Your hydroponic greens and everything else, should also keep well for at least the week, maybe longer for the beets! To use them up sooner though here are a few suggestions:
and finally from Tina at Kama`aina Land: a tasty way to use some of your citrus–in a Butterscotch Bourbon Apple Cider!
