Kualoa Ranch

Kualoa Ranch has a diversified agricultural farm managed by Ises Lipman. The produce is grown in Hakipuu and Kaaawa Valleys.

One of Kualoa Ranch’s main focuses is agriculture and stewardship of the land. Besides vegetable and fruit farming, the ranch also has a flower nursery, and produces fish, prawns, and beef. The goal of the farming operation is to rehabilitate some of our diversified agricultural lands that have gone fallow and to produce more fruits and vegetables to sell to the different communities throughout the island.

Co-Founder Milton Agader

Twin Bridge Farms is part of a group of farmers who took over the land after Waialua Sugar shut down in the mid-1990s. The company is one of many that have turned to diversified agriculture on the North Shore. Asparagus is a relatively low maintenance crop and has few problems with disease or pests. As a specialty crop, it is in high demand by local restaurants and gourmet shops.

Taste testing pineapples in the field!

Maui Gold pineapple is famous for its extra sweet flavor and low acidity. These characteristics were developed over several years by traditional horticulturalists who crossed hundreds of natural pineapple varieties in the search for the best tasting fruit.  For more information, check out their website!
