Aloha everyone! It’s almost St. Patty’s day and in keeping with the season and our tradition, we’ve got some Twin Bridge Farm potatoes for you in this week’s bag! So get ready to march out some Irish recipes and pour yourself a Guinness, Harp, or Bailey’s.
Also this week we’ll be bringing you more of those wonderful Kahumana Farm organic baby greens, tatsoi from Nalo Farms, pineapple courtesy of Pit Farm, slicing tomatoes and baby pak choy from Green Growers, and one special item from Ho Farms–a loofah sponge! Ho Farms is experimenting with this squash which can be eaten if harvested young, and when mature is the squash that loofah is made from. We hope you find some uses for it during your spring cleaning 😉
Arugula Pesto Mashed Potatoes and Brown Butter Tatsoi While you may not feel like adding pesto to your mashers, this recipe is a great one to get ideas from and if you happen to have some herbs on hand, just add them (chopped) to your potatoes for extra fun flavor.
Easy Crispy Pan Fried Potatoes mouthwatering…
Pineapple Salsa what to do with extra pineapple? have it over fish, chicken, rice, or steamed veggies in a salsa!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of you Irish (& “one day out of the year” Irish!) folks out there…hope to hear from you about what you did with this week’s bag!
