This week’s bag features Lemongrass! Lemongrass is a culinary and medicinal herb. It is commonly used in teas, soups and curries. It can be used whole, sliced or pounded to a paste. To use whole, slice off the very bottom of the stalk, and peel off any dried-out layers. Pounding the woody top end will help release some of the aromatic oils. You can also chop the stalk and use the lemongrass to make marinades, soups or just add to stir-fries. Learn more about lemongrass preparation. What else is in the bag?
