White Nectarine

White nectarines are a delicious and nutritious summer treat! While their nutritional profile is similar to regular nectarines, they offer a good source of:

  • Potassium: Essential for heart health and blood pressure regulation.
  • Vitamin C: Boosts immunity and aids in collagen production.
  • Fiber: Promotes digestive health and helps with satiety.

Additionally, nectarines contain small amounts of other vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that contribute to overall well-being. Enjoy them as a refreshing snack or incorporate them into your favorite salads and desserts!

Carrots

Craving fresh, crisp flavor? Look no further than local carrots! These vibrant veggies, grown right here in Hawaii, boast a sweetness and juiciness that supermarket finds just can’t match. Packed with beta-carotene for healthy vision and immune function, local orange carrots are the perfect way to add a touch of sunshine to your plate. Enjoy them raw for a refreshing crunch, roasted for a touch of caramelized goodness, or blended into a nutritious juice!

Long Beans

Long beans are a type of legume with long, slender pods. They are a staple in many Asian cuisines and are known for their crisp texture and slightly beany flavor. They can be enjoyed stir-fried, steamed, or added to soups and stews.

Bravo Radish

Bravo radishes are eye-catching additions to any salad! These vibrant purple radishes boast a milder flavor than their red cousins, with a touch of sweetness and a satisfying crunch.

Preparation

Bravo radishes are edible all the way through– from skin to core. Scrub well before eating. Greens can be used in soups, stir-fries or with eggs. Use the radishes raw in salads, sliced thinly as an appetizers, or for garnish. They are excellent pickled in vinegar and salt.

Togan Squash

Togan squash are large, weighing up to 22 pounds, and have a bulbous, round, oval, to oblong shape with blunt, curved ends. The melons are covered in a thin but tough, light to dark green variegated skin, often enveloped in a textured, chalky layer of wax, depending on the variety.
